It was fine 20 mins ago, now hanging on load.
Also went windowed and changed a few graphics settings - unsure if any of that helped too.
yep first city happend to me.
that one specific save cannot be loadead(it simply crashes the whole game) regardless of graphic or windows settings.
20 min earlier save works fine.
experiencing this is just the beginning, reading a ton of other people also have various issues with their saves its simply not worth to continue playing until they fixed the game.
it basicly can happen at any point regardless if its a quick or manual save.
If the dude really does have a 4090, there is no way his rig is to blame.
Nope, it has nothing to do with hardware. The devs are not only aware of the issue (via Discord) but were aware of it prior to launch.
The biggest issue I have is that they released this game in such a state knowing very well the plethora of technical, game-play, and performance issues is has. It literally, not figuratively or hyperbolically speaking (eg. broken quests/save corruption), has game breaking bugs that can and will occur, bricking your play-through.
After all of the delays it was likely a case of capital or lack thereof. Still, it makes me wonder if they're up to the task given the obvious lack of technical experience with regards to UE5.
I played it for that long because I was making mods and assisting in mod making for it. I gave it a negative review not because of technical issues or performance hindrance, but due to the fact that it is an objectively mediocre game, period. That said, your attempted straw-man is obvious.
With regards to bugs this is well worth a read and currently has 1.6K upvotes. It details the late-game issues and is just an example of the myriad of problems the game has.

If you google a bit, you would find that the game is riddled with problems. At that point, being nice is a courtacy.
