dlss frame gen not there

I have a gtx 4070 and wanted to use dlss frame gen. at first, it was greyed out.I checked the internet and I saw that i needed to turn it on in my windows setting. So i did and restarted my computer.

But Now it's gone the option is not there anymore. above FRS frame generation it's written resolution scalling. dlss frame gen just disappeared anybody got a fix for this ?

usually having dlss on turns frame gen off and grey, for me im using dlss balanced and using frs frame gen on and it works good

I would love to but I don'T know why but fsr frame gen gives my pc some weird lag spike so I wanted to try dlss frame gen to see but its just not there anymore

Having this identical issue, including it being greyed initially and then gone after enabling gpu scheduling in windows. Strange.

Updating nvidia driver helped to return it, all working now.
I've alse replaced dlss and dlss fg with latest versions from techpowerup website.
Didn't expect it to work but it did, i've had to do re-do shader compilation but its worth it, game is barely playable without nvidia's FG (done on purpose)

I found a solution for this problem on my PC. As simple as downloading this mod for optimization of nexus and it somehow brought back DLLS and frame gen options. Hopefully this helps. This game is a performance nightmare even on strong rigs.
