No, I wont. And, no it isnt.
On the other hand, the durability mechanic around weapons and armor is quite interesting because it gives some singular challenges to the game.
I wonder how much the difficulty levels are impacting durability in Stalker 2 ?
Maybe you could play at the 1st level of difficulty to have more fun without caring to much about money ?
I think these durability issues pushes players to avoid fights and sneak their way and hide, or farm and grind aeras for loot.
I mean repairs and weapon improvements are the main purpose of money in my experience. Most of the items that are being sold can be found in the Zone, including armor suits and such.
Spending money on expensive items is a "trap".
In Clear Sky or Call of Prypiat, selling artefacts to scientists was the best way to get money, some merchants give more money on specific items and less for others, if i am not mistaking ?
So anyways, go to a vendor that has unlimited money, and drop everything you want to sell into the sell box, then grab a stack (more than one item) of items that the vendor DOES NOT have in his inventory and drag them to the sell window and choose how many (you only need 2). Then drag those 2 items back into your inventory, you will notice when the dialog to pick how many to move over pops up, that the value for everything you are trying to sell will go up drastically, at this point click "confirm" on the sale while ignoring the item transfer prompt and you will get your money. Now this is where the infinite money glitch comes in. You can choose to click Cancel now on the item transfer prompt and it will be as if you sold everything, included the stack of items you used to do the glitch OR you can click return all items and the stack of items you used to do the glitch will go back to your inventory (only if he didn't already have that item in his inventory). So this works really well if you have say like 100 grenades (like I do) most of the time vendors don't have grenades, so you can sell him the stack of 100 grenades for full value and then click return all and get all your grenades back, and repeat infinitely.
I haven't been using the infinite money glitch, but I have been using the glitch to sell everything at full value and it has made the game much more enjoyable to me without having to mod the game to change weight, or being able to sell red guns or nerfing mutants health (mutants need armor piercing rounds). Enjoy.
It would help if we could also reload our weapons or use health kits/bandages while running. As it stands now I have to run from packs of mutants and pick them off from a distance, to avoid them getting up close to damage my armor.
Is there a mod available, yet, that lets you heal yourself and reload while sprinting/running?
they're hopefully fixing the modified weapons repair costs in the next patch. supposedly thats actually a bug right now
I think a have a good rep with Stalkers as their merchant show in green color on the map but the repair cost is still too high: 7000k for a half damaged ak.
I mean I love shooters also, finished Doom'16 in only pistol challenge, but stalker is a little bit different un genre.
The american style fear.
Not because it hurt, but because it will bankrupt you lol.
...no. a modified item literally costs an astronomical amount to a unmodified gun in comparrison sometimes. like its actually a bug. devs even said so for the upcoming patch
Grow the ♥♥♥♥ up.
Finding Stashes are good ways to sell stuff and gain money and keep using the above to counter being shot at
