Quest Items — How to remove?!
Please respond who knows. How do I remove a quest item from my inventory?
There is a Debug Menu (Console) available, is there any command to remove items?
I just couldn't find it.

Need too, I have found the "Decider" gun without see Myrtkas, but when I found him, he was dead... and I can't remove this 4kg gun. Same with somes PDAs
You can't sadly, I can only suggest to install the mod that reduces quest item carry weight to 0kg

There's a Workarround for this on Nexus, but specially for Skif's PTM.

Install .pak and run Command's.

Tryed this with the Decider Gun and it worked, but the Gun has to be in Hand/Equipped.

"XDisassemblyWeapon"

Dunno if this works without the .pak from the Mod, but for me it worked after installing the .pak .

As always for Mod's: read the f**ck**g Manual/Description! :P

quest items loose their check mark once you no longer need them, then you can sell them off or dump in your stash.

The problem is that you can find quest items even after you have completed the quest, and they are and remain locked as quest items. That's what this is about.

And do not most weigh almost nothing? Like how you can mod the base pistol down to less that 1kg.

You learn early to make use of your main stash box and other places and not to take EVERYTHING with you.

The irony is the game TELLS you in the tips (though there are about a hundred of them, but still so much is explained there.)

Game is for the patient, not Tik-Tok addicts.

And the game is broken, because I have 12kg worth of quest loot which is stuck in my inventory, ruining my gameplay.

The irony is that you did not READ and realize what the actual problem is.

finish the quests then the items can be sold, im just past duga with all side quests done so far and i have only skif's PTM

I have exactly the same problem. Fortunately, it is a good weapon that can be used. Still annoying with 4 kg locked to the character. Have reported the problem and hope there will be a fix.

Except this is not the case, I still have 2x PDAs marked as quest items and those quest were resolved more than 2 weeks ago. I also have keys marked as quest items but I have no idea where they fit and they are not for any active quest i have. I probably missed those doors somewhere but there is zero chance I will ever find those doors, ever. There is still chance the game just bugged and I unlocked those doors and the keys stayed marked as quest items anyway.

you can use:
XStartQuestNodeBySID SQ86_SwitchQuestItemState_Gun_Decider_AR_QuestOff

I found this by examining the SID dump here https://www.nexusmods.com/stalker2heartofchornobyl/mods/794 and I noticed the 'QuestOff' nodes. I imagine this will work for other bugged quest items like Bubba's PDA, too.

EDIT: Yep, it works - though the naming convention is different..

I'm early in the game and still get undroppable tracking collars at times. Should I keep those collars in case I can sell them later, or should I also use the console mod to drop them?

I tried this for Sashko Eight Balls PDA, using the SQ86_SashkaBitokPDA like how it worked with Decider and Bubbs PDA to no avail. Am I using the wrong convention for this one?

Is there any reason why I can't stash/sell the starting pistol other than the story behind it? like is there a game breaking issue if I mod it so I can remove it?

just bcoz of cutscenes with this pistol :) i removed it through console
