Important stash box PSA!
There is an unmarked player stash box at Huron's gun shop in the Slag Heap.

I had just been selling stash worthy stuff so I didn't need to run back to Zalissya.

Why would the game introduce you to stash boxes by having one logically next to a settlements bed, marked on the map, but then in the next settlement, your stash box is unmarked and miles away from the bed, it makes no sense :steamfacepalm:

They will probably move it or at least add a map marker in a future patch i'm sure.

Some people might consider this not important enough to call it a PSA and make a post about it.
Those people would be wrong, I wish I knew about this many hours ago

Makes sense. Seems like it was forgotten or they updated a build without the code to the map marker.

It's even more weird - only the "blue" personal box in Zalissya is shown on the map. In every other location there are "yellow" personal boxes. So far every major location with a bed had one. All without map markers.

That is weird. I'm at the first location still. Hopefully that gets fixed soon.

Good info to be aware of that they are all like this, the Slag Heap one has no marker at all.

Are the ones in the other settlements also in random places or are they all next to a bed or merchant?

A lot of the stash location's are not marked which is annoying.

The Slag Heap is an "anomaly" so far (as it is near the trader) - normally all the yellow personal boxes are close to the bed location. I can confirm that for cement factory, Zaton (ships), chemical plant (ward playthrough), Rostok, Yaniv, Rostok.

Because, as stated before, these devs lazily threw together a game and didn't bother actually paying attention to anything, be it economy, optimization, balancing or this.

The repair costs are definitely 90% of my earnings gone lol, it's "workable" but rather tedious, i'm unloading every gun and keeping all sellable weapons, making regular trips back to hubs to offload any bread, beer, water all the ammo etc to stay on top of it.

Double edged sword, on one hand I like actually having a reason to hoard and I like the feeling of the currency having value enough that I need to actually consider it for my game plan.
On the other it's bloody annoying, the cost of those things is adding tedium.

I considered modding it so the cost is lower, but I also know if I do that I will not bother looting after a fight and I won't get that little rush when I find excess unneeded body armor or a nice artifact because that money I will sell them for will mean less.
