It's even more weird - only the "blue" personal box in Zalissya is shown on the map. In every other location there are "yellow" personal boxes. So far every major location with a bed had one. All without map markers.
Are the ones in the other settlements also in random places or are they all next to a bed or merchant?
The Slag Heap is an "anomaly" so far (as it is near the trader) - normally all the yellow personal boxes are close to the bed location. I can confirm that for cement factory, Zaton (ships), chemical plant (ward playthrough), Rostok, Yaniv, Rostok.
Because, as stated before, these devs lazily threw together a game and didn't bother actually paying attention to anything, be it economy, optimization, balancing or this.
Double edged sword, on one hand I like actually having a reason to hoard and I like the feeling of the currency having value enough that I need to actually consider it for my game plan.
On the other it's bloody annoying, the cost of those things is adding tedium.
I considered modding it so the cost is lower, but I also know if I do that I will not bother looting after a fight and I won't get that little rush when I find excess unneeded body armor or a nice artifact because that money I will sell them for will mean less.
