It's clearly happening to both AMD and NVIDIA users, as I am an NVIDIA user. Please fix the holo sights or the FSR implementation!
Side Note: Please make your game run at a reasonable framerate without Frame Gen too, this is one of the worst examples of "DLSS IS optimization" in existence but it's FSR instead.
The ghosting on the holo sight is indeed annoying, but Stalker 2 from my point of view
Is just another example that nowadays game devs no longer give a ♥♥♥♥ about optimization and they heavily rely on things like Frame Gen or DLSS
I can play Black Myth Wukong ( which has better graphics than Stalker 2 ) I can play KCD2, I can play Cyberpunk 2077
I play all these games with everything max ( except Wukong, the max for that is Cinematic? ) 60+ no upscaling ♥♥♥♥ or frame gen/dlss
But I really wonder, do devs really thing everyone has a 4090 in their PC? can't they simply just look at the Steam Hardware & Software Survey made by STEAM, on how many users have X GPU?
Like sh1t, the most popular GPU is 4060 with 3060
and ONLY almost 1% have a 4090
But anyway, modders will fix the game
Edit: sorry for bad english
You get 60fps with Path tracing with no upscaling and framegen in CP2077?
Not sure about that, bro.
But yeah, holosights are broken with FSR3.1 framegen. The collimator sights aren't so bad, but the holo definitely is a nightmare with it.
I just gave up on framegen. Feels like molasses and has visual bugs like that and around item text etc. Haven't tried DLSS FG, but I haven't needed to since upgrading to a gpu that can actually support it. (monitor is 60hz)
I don't use Ray Tracing ,not a big fan of it ( everything on max ((High or Ultra)) is enough for me )
Same goes for upscaling, If I have to use that? it's only NativeAA
Path tracing? If it's cold outside, I will 100% use Path Tracing with the hope to have a good fire for a while
What I was trying to say from that that is, from my point of view
There are lots of games that have better graphics and are optimized compared to this, from want I've heard, for some reason in safezones this game is eating ♥♥♥♥ in terms of CPUs
About visual bugs with framegen, tbh I've never seen a bug or whatever ( mostly because of my eyes, I've kinda seen a little bit of ghosting? when you move your gun but eh ) expect for the holosights , that sh1t is BAD
About DLSS FG, from what I've heard from reading everything I could to see if there's a fix for the ghosting with framgen, people say they have no problems with DLSS FG or DLAA FG? Have no idea what DLAA is, my last Nvidia GPU was a 1650
But as the saying goes, it is what it is
Most new games that are using UE as their engine, in the first month/s or year/s, they will have problems in terms of settings and performance
This game is like how Sengoku Dynasty ( another UE game ) was when they released it,
there was no difference between settings, you had the same performance with every settings, everything was hell and a big mess
Only after almost a year the game started to be good ( in terms of settings and performance )
