Malachite Safe Zone is bugged
DO NOT READ IF YOU DIDN'T ARRIVE HERE IT MAY BE SPOILERS

After a huge mission in the game, main quest, the malachite safe zone is attacked, realistically speaking no one should be inside and the base not be operative anymore right?

The doors are locked from outside, HOWEVER, if you ask a guide to bring you to MALACHITE, it spawns you inside the safe zone building which I said before was previously locked after some main events in the main quest... You become soft locked in this safe zone, not really, you can ask the guide from MALACHITE to go somewhere else, however, this is so stupid.

In order to get to the north of the map you gotta walk 4-3km instead to just ask a guide, however, the guide just spawns you inside the locked MALACHITE safe zone, which is locked, so YOU CAN'T GET OUT LMAO.

Why couldn't they put a spawn that was OUTSIDE the building? SMH...

Someone else noticed this? Or is my game that is bugged?

Also, to point out that the MALACHITE safe zone icons, traders, medic etc. are RED, why??.. I never seen that.

If they are gone, they should just disappear, like another safe zone that got attacked previously in the main quest...

I've had much the same experience as everyone here. Fast traveled in, can only leave through the sewer. Got attacked by 2 guys with insane high HP, both took at least 20 slugs to the head to die. Then I heard the message say the threat has been cleared! Yay! But the doors are still locked, so back in through the sewer I go and now nobody will talk to me, presumably because I killed those two guys :DLskull:

A lot of safe zones in this games are broken past story missions, they are best avoided. Malachite is the one that sucks the most because it's the best point to quickly get to Duga and Radar, two very important main quests.

Malachite isn't exactly broken. The only thing broken about is that sometimes a hostile guard with tons of HP spawns inside a safe zone.

Lore-wise, The Ward takes Malachite, and since you're an enemy to The Ward, you can't get in normally. You have to use a secret entrance, but the game never explains it.

What is indeed broken is Yaniv guide and the whole Cordon.

After an attack on Yaniv, Garry just disappeared for me. The icon is still there, but he's nowhere to be found.

Cordon is even funnier. THE ENTIRE Rookie Village decided to just collectively leave the village. Even thag old fart that sat there for more than a decade has left. Seeing an empty chair in Sidorovich's bunker just felt cursed.

Can confirm, just got teleported to Malachite room where guide was before attack. Can get inside, trade sleep but can't go outside. This need fix.

This quest is bugged AF since the issue with Malachite is that for some reason for now after siding with Spark and succesfully defending Malachite from Ward raid we still getting the outcome as if we sided actually with Ward and captured Malachite....That`s why there are Ward guards in front of Malachite after u succesfully defended the base from them.

And yeah u still can fasttravel to Malachite or go through the secret entrance and enter Malachite that way (just need to wait until Ward soldiers at the entrance loose track of you) and you can trade, sleep there but scientist will say that Ozersky died even so Scar at the end of the quest after you defended the areas says that he succesfully secured Ozersky.

So as i sad, quest is heavelly bug but it doesent effect your further progression through the main quest, just breaks immersion and makes things at malachite reaaly confusing.
