There are a lot of people either with high tolerance for jank or that didn't have any issue.
Others had issue after issue, after issue. And it's up to them to decide if they want to give this game a pass. What is fair, is to judge a product based on your experience, we didn't buy this game on discount because the devs would fix it later so although we can understand and it explains why the game is in a broken state for many, it's not an excuse either.
I can barely play this game, and I didn't refund it because I trust the devs and i want to support them, in a year where the industry had around 14 thousand layoffs, I want then to succeed, but we gotta be realistic and honest about the issues of this product.
Ahh there you go with the usual gaming activist spiel. I have heard these same talking points time and time again. How hard is it for you to understand that me talking positive about the game is NOT equal to being "ok" with products that release with issues? Alsop at this point EVERYTHING you stated has already been addressed or at least acknowledged by the devs, so your wasting your breath saying what everyone already knows.
I would love to be able to see your played games list to so how many of these games you yourself have supported over the years. 9 times out of 10 you are doing or have done exactly what your preaching to others about so, you are part of the problem too lol.
You go and do whatever you want but I will choose to spend my money where I want and if you are smart with your money and know your preferences the less likely you are to be burned by modern game releases. However if you blindly buy products based on reviews, hype, ...etc you have yourself to blame for dropping money on something you were on the fence about.
Game has problems. But since launch only two problems for were optimalization and enemies spawning directly on me. I experienced one crash. Is it ok to release games in state in which many players can't play it properly? Yes. Should we limit our experience only to those issues? No.
If you want to say that guilt tripping people into waiting isn't telling then what to do, ok then. Either way, waiting isn't fairer than being honest about the bugs people are experiencing.
Gaming activist spiel, lmao, do you even listen to yourself?
How dare them people expecting a playable, finished product with paying full price for it.
