*SPOILERS* What to do with Prof. Hermann and next choice

For those who already finished or advanced in the game beyond this point. Internet search does not give good results as of now and I dont want to spoiler all of it. So only vague answers please.

1. In SIRCAA - what are consequences of killing/sparing Hermann? I kinda don't believe anyone in there. Initially I killed him but then decided I don't want to reload the game in case it was a bad choice.

2. I kinda believe Dalin and Ward about progressing mankind and yada-yada. If I side with them - will they betray me or will it be a worse choice than helping Scar and Noontiders? Without many spoilers please.

Im sure you already passed this point, but I found this via google, so if anyone else shows up:

1. As far as Im aware, there is no down or upside to killing him or letting him go.

2. The info leaks to her either way, and the mission will progress regardless. The next decision is the bigger one that changes the game moving forward.
