Best assault rifle in the game

Stat wise. Don't think about how easy to come across the ammo or repair cost. The rifle needs to have automatic fire capabilities.

Yeah, limited selection then this strange weapon tier system on top of that is just horrible.
It's almost like we are limited to like 4-7 guns at most if you want to the "best bang for your buck" from each bullets.

I did saw a mod on nexus that address this issue tho.
Making guns with the same caliber deal similar damage and pen value.
So atleast we got a bandaid fix for now.

Upgraded Unique Groza with 5.45 ammo is my fav.

weapons make no sense in this game. SMGs have better PEN than Assault Rifles. 9x18 is more powerful than 5.45.

Kharod for me. I put it in 5.45 but overall it was my go to because of the grenade launcher and sight selection. I like the acog more than the 2x or reflex options the Dnipro has. But either way the weapons are kind of the same imo. You can squeeze slightly more damage out of the Dnipro with the 7.62 upgrade but i never found it to see if it was the PKP ammo or the SVD ammo it used. Again ammo availability does not matter for either weapon, Palace of culture sells every bullet type in the game. (can either jump over the train or progress story to get here)

If you want a real chad option, full auto upgrade on the m14 is kinda funny just buy a ♥♥♥♥ load of 308 from yaniv, rostok and malachite. Sniper rifle damage/pen with a fast fire rate and controllable recoil.

Is there an akm thats 7.62? just curious, I've stopped playing for a few patches and have been wondering if theres an old ak or if theres only the 5.45 ones.

no. But you can rechamber the dnipro to fire 7.62x39

Loot stashes have randomized blueprints I think.

i haven`t found the blueprint, i just see it as an option in the upgrade menu when you go to a technician

There are a lot of those. I've gathered close to 20 so far, and only really unlocked 2 or 3 upgrades that apply to equipment that I actually use. Also, that is the ONLY place you can get blueprints.

thats kind of awful to not have the original ak. if not that then there are plenty of other 7.62 options.
