would have been so much better if i could just continue after main mission ends
I played Fallout3 for like 8 Months doing that...
You get the scrolling texts at the very end, then bottom left corners says (Exit to the Main menu)
pressing that, goes back to main menu, and you are able to start a new game or load an older save. you can allso press continue, but that just gives you the scrolling texts again :)
thats kinda what i have to do yes, that or start a new game, but its not what i would have preferred
Load previous save. But you get warned about point of no return.
do you? lol were and how?
But i still think its kinds strange that you cant get back in to the game after main missions is over to play on the same character, and do all side missions and such instead of starting a new game or loading an old save
Someday, modders may retool S2 into a sandbox enviornment one way or another, But S2 as it is, is not intended as a sandbox game, its a story based shooter with open world and sandbox elements, but it has a definitive ending.
its not a PONR. but once you visit SIRCAA/NIICHAZ it will be the starting point of a major shift in the game world, and you'll also be thrown into several long missions in a row before you are free to return to poking around on your own.
