Main mission end, now what???????????
I finished the main story just now. and it just says ''Exit to main menu''??????????
so i need to start a new game or open an older save file to keep playing, thats seems kinda strange?

I dont know why you made such decision, but would it in the future be possible for you to rework this, so when you finish the main missions, you will just be put back into the game to continue playing the game and do all the side quests and stuff?

Play again to see other ending, as far we know looks like the game have 3 different ending.

yea i guess, but i mean really, i have to start a new game to play all over again?
would have been so much better if i could just continue after main mission ends

The reason why they released it because they're running out ass of their money and can't keep this embarrassment.

so how does it looks like does it have a button to new game?

Load your previous save and roam around, and let us know what you find....
I played Fallout3 for like 8 Months doing that...

Or overwrite a save? if that so I would laugh my ass off.

You get the scrolling texts at the very end, then bottom left corners says (Exit to the Main menu)

pressing that, goes back to main menu, and you are able to start a new game or load an older save. you can allso press continue, but that just gives you the scrolling texts again :)

Load previous save. But you get warned about point of no return.

Is there a PONR warning? I was wondering about this. (I haven't even finished the prologue yet because of crashes.)

do you? lol were and how?

But i still think its kinds strange that you cant get back in to the game after main missions is over to play on the same character, and do all side missions and such instead of starting a new game or loading an old save
Call of pripyat, the 3rd game. Was the only one that had an option to keep playing after the main quest ended. This is typical of Stalker games. They are story games, stories have a beginning, middle and end.

Someday, modders may retool S2 into a sandbox enviornment one way or another, But S2 as it is, is not intended as a sandbox game, its a story based shooter with open world and sandbox elements, but it has a definitive ending.

the point of no return is the "Down below" mission. I think it even gives a warning.

its not a PONR. but once you visit SIRCAA/NIICHAZ it will be the starting point of a major shift in the game world, and you'll also be thrown into several long missions in a row before you are free to return to poking around on your own.
