No bases

So, I've played STALKER 2 for about 20 hours, explored the areas neighboring Lesser Zone, but so far I have been able to find only one base, Zalissya. No bases in other areas, which means that I can't sell, repair or upgrade my loot and have to deal with half-broken weapons taken from enemies.

Is this some kind of bug? The only way back to Zalissya is through the Northern Gate. Whoever put a bunch of anomalies there, I hope you break a leg.

So I'm essentially in free roam mode, wandering around, looting stashes that I can't sell and encountering enemies like Controller in the Waste Processing Plant that I have no means of defeating. That doesn't seem right.

almost every region has a base. Google Stalker 2 interactive map and you will see

and you have no idea what are you doing... there is BIG base in center of heap... just saying

Explore more. The main quest will also lead you to bases.

Middle of Garbage, you play 20 hours havent been there? Early main quest takes you there.

the anomalies at the northern bridge can be bypassed with the bolt, but you aren't supposed to be able to leave the lesser zone until the prologue is over.

there's a base in the north of the garbage called Slag heap



there are bases in many of the regions, and some regions have multiple.

Garbage - Slag Heap
Cordon - Rookie Village
Rostok - Freedom Base
Cement Plant - Duty Base
Chemical Plant - Ward Base
Zaton - Sultansk, and Shevchenko *2 bases*
Malachite - STC Malachite (independent ecologists base)
Yaniv - Yaniv Station.

There is also a base with a nearby trader in the Wild Island, but its not permanent.


MINOR SPOILER TO FOLLOW
due to game progression and decisions, some of the bases can be eliminated or lock the player out, I'm in the late game and in my game there's basically nowhere in the southwest of the map I can go, Malachite is occupied by the Ward, The Chemical Plant is the ward base, Zaliyssia is gone, and so is the Noon shelter on wild island. I have to go to Rostok, Slag heap, or rookie village if Im down there.

give this man an award for trolling - there are not even just bases to sell stuff there are like in the og game more places to sell and buy weapons, but i dont want to spoiler. the only thing i want to say, im on 22 hours as well

ive got a simular problem ... my mainquest is just out of the lesser zone.
so i decided to explore the map. ive walked Southeast via Sultansk(did 2 mission for them) until the swamp in the corner of the map. when ive returned to Sultansk the doors are all closed and i cant get in anymore ?!

my first thought was i crashed my savegames with the early exproration of the map...
