Fewer guns than COP

the F2000/FT-200M is missing unless it's one of the other guns that replace it like the Fora-221/Dnipro but not the same still and also the IL 86, the AC-96/2 and SGI-5k

Nobody ever used SA80 or Obokan, why add them to begin with? Both were replaced with more interesting weapons. F2000 was... whatever

G3 was in CoP I dont think the FAL was there though

Used both extensively and loved them, how do you know nobody used something in a SP game...

a sequel having different weapons than the original isn't a phenomenon unique to stalker.

the arsenal thats in game is a design choice, canonically the game takes place over a decade after the last games, and there are several new organizations in the zone now, it stands to reason different equipment came in.

once the mod tools are released. Im sure some talented creators will start remaking old favorites.

There was, indeed, no G3 in vanilla CoP. G36 - yes. G3 - no.

The problem isn't really the amount of weapons, the issue is you can be in the late game zones and still run into people using Viper 5's. Enemies standing right next to someone using a spas 12 and a G36, still running an MP5 gets old when you realize how it cuts into the ammo economy. Especially since armor pen is king.

It was indeed whatever - ShoC: you could only get it legitimately on CNPP, literally last 5% of the game. You *could* glitch it out of last Arena fight though. CS: obtained after capturing the bridge to Limansk (last 10% of the game) AND you had to haul ass back to the swamp to get it. Yeah, no.
CoP you could get if from Nimble immediately but considering how loot in CoP works you could find busted gear within half an hour for free making it pointless. F2000 was, indeed, a whatever weapon. VSS is, was and always will be a meta in trilogy

Its not a G3 its whatever the spanish 5.56 variant is but if you do streloks stashes it's there
