Is there a memory leak?
After about 2-4 hrs playing It will randomly start running choppy (~15fps) which is fixed by restarting the game.

Not sure if its related to alt-tabbing

There is a VRAM Leak.
Takes around 2h for my 24GB completly be used and causing crash.

It isn't - something is fishy. Played a lengthy main mission (a few hours without alt-tabbing) and had to restart for the "final dialogue".

Hopefully the patch of this week will fix this :)

Can't confirm in 20 hours of game time. I had 1 crash and a moment where the game froze for a few seconds and then continued like nothing happened.

Dev acknowledged there is memory leak and it's supposed to fix with the next update that should come this week

Huh what, I'veplayed ~22 hours now, with 16 GB VRAM at 4k Epic preset, and never crashed or ran into choppy FPS(excluding towns of course). That is strange. Maybe that specific issue only affects AMD GPUs?

happened to me today.
started playing after prologue until the first settlement.
in the bar, just crashed down to 5fps, didn't get back up again.
restart worked.

so i can confirm the 2h mark that vram gets used up.
The only time I encountered a memory leak was during a complete freeze up/crash that happened only one time, I noticed after the game froze, my Memory usage was at 99% (on 32gb total) when I killed it in task manager.

afterwards, I ran task manager on my second screen for a few hours while playing to monitor it, and strangely, I never saw the memory go over 6GB. so in my case the only time there was a memory leak.. was crash related.

During first 20ish hours, it was fine, fps never dropped under 120 at max settings, but when i entered garbage zone, i get occasional fps drop to basically slideshow requiring restart of game. No crash yet.

Most likely location based issue.

Yes, they've promised to fix memory allocation in the first patch which should be released any day now (officially till the end of the week).

Yeah there is a memory leak. Always after two hours playing time my FPS goes down to 5-10FPS. Then i have to restart the game and everything works smooth again for the next two hours. I have same issue with 1.0.3.
