Use your detector, throw a few bolts.
Back in our day, it was harder. You have the game on Steam, we had to insert a CD into our computers to play one of the older titles, in the snow. Sometimes a big bird would swoop down and carry on of us unfortunates away towards the sun.
Harden up.
Edit: And stop bumbling around in an anomaly. Probe it with bolts, use your eyes, map a path, maybe come in from another angle.
It is definitely annoying some of the times especially with the echo detector... I'd recommend leaving artefact farming until you can upgrade your detector - even one level up (the bear detector) is so much easier
I agree, tho I'd be nice if the detector still made it easier to spot ontop of it not being invincible.
That way there's no reason to just remove detectors.
Besides, if artifacts were so easy to find, do you think they would still be worth thousands of coupons each?
it will make artifact hunting a breeze
there's the rarity, the constant effect, the entire fact they're smuggled out of the zone.
The fact they're invisible doesn't really make them more difficult. It just makes is so you're wasting time trying to just get the stupid thing to appear till you get a detector that just tells you where it is. which is literally the next tier from the echo.
the difficulty is in actually navigating through the anomalies to it.
However, if you mean that the detector is constantly beeping and you just constantly hear an "appearing artifact" sound, then that means the artifact is bugged underground, it happened to me a couple of times next to the military base where an ecologist asks you to move his companion body to an anomaly or something. (it's full of green anomalies)
I don't know if they fixed underground bug artifacts, it can happen anywhere anyway.
