Agreed. Best the Devs can do is a bar with a smaller yellow bar. Your suit is bar, and the helmet is plus bar. Making the resistance level approximately two partial bars.
Yeah really want this. It was in previous games. Beats me why it's not here
The description of low, medium, high is too fuzzy to express what they do, and I noticed that an artifact that removes radiation has a slightly lower reduction than the radiation increase of other artifacts of the same level (+weak with -weak I mean).
(I love that upgrade btw, do you know if it nullified the artefact radiation completely, even with high radiation?)
Never knowing if vest+helmet is better than a full suit is *really* annoying.
Was the thought process behind this, "people are too dumb for actual numbers, so let's give them some random words"?
Having numbers for artifact would help me calculate rad damage and other benefits, but no, I have to stand there like a dumbass and test how much effects will I get with every combination...
It, however, only show base values, does not include upgrade values as far as I understand it and it overall does not make much sense. Weapon values are absolutely mind-boggling. I can not wait till moders release some proper weapon and armor overhaul mods to get some sense into the game.
PS. There is no way helmet + body armor values are added together as those are clearly better on paper but in reality I felt like I was using wet tissue for armor when I used helmet+body armor combo. The moment I swapped to Corundum suit, my first full body armor, I started to feel like a tank. Next upgrade was Diamond Exo.
PSS. Based on the spreadsheet, Mask 1 + PSZ-5D has total of 5.95 physical protection while best exo-suits have 4.3. Either Stalker 2 distinguishes between hit areas, ie. head or body, or the stats just do not make any sense.
This is needed.
