Is there a post game after story or not

So I playd the original games including stalker anomaly and I know the only game that had some level of a post game was clear sky if I remember correctly outside of anomaly of course and I've been looking all over the Internet for some information about this game and a post game and I have found nothing so can I play the game after the story mode or is it like the old games where I don't have a choice tonight I just have to save before my final decision in the final mission.



Without spoiling anything major let me know thank you cuz I really enjoy the game I just don't want to rely on a save to have to go back in order to just explore and stuff.

Some people confirmed you can play after ending the game, yet to verify myself so there's that.

Yeah I seen that too but at the same time I've seen other people say that there's no way so that's why I've been asking because I don't want to like I've said go to an earlier save or have to go to stalker anomaly to just explore the zone I want to play the game the way I want to play it you know what I mean.

I have seen people talk about unique weapons that you get at the last mission so I assume you can after if there is a unique weapon plus prypait doesn’t open up until close to the end

There is not, once you reach the end it will boot you back to the main menu, when you load in again it will be right before the ending cut scene, to continue playing you will have to load to back before you started the quest with the no return pop up

Edit: as for the unique weapons you get, due to the devs incompetence the only way to get them would be to install the UETools mod and spawn them in using the console.

Yeah I would hope they patch that in because for me I believe that this game should have the ability to continue after the story I can understand for the original games but for this one I don't see why we can't.

But in any case until they patch it in or not after the story I guess I'm just going to go to stalker anomaly if I'm being honest with you cuz that's about the only game that allows you to not even touch the story let alone continue after it I know the one expansion for the first game if you picked the right ending would let you but those are the two only instances of us being able to do that

Once you beat the first area in anyone of your games 1.2.3 you are able to leave it right away without doing any story and travel to any zone, I just go around the zone doing what I want ignoring the story.
