Minimum system requirements:
CPU: Intel Core i7-7700K / AMD Ryzen 5 1600X.
RAM: 16 GB Dual Channel.
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB / AMD Radeon RX 580 8GB / Intel Arc A750.
OS: Windows 10 x64 / Windows 11 x64.
STO: 160 GB available space.
RES: Low, 1080p / 30 FPS.
He's talking about his VRAM not RAM, those are two completely different things.
Regardless OP, not the first game to require more than 8GB of VRAM, in fact it's happening more and more often, since consoles themselves have moved away from 8GB of VRAM. And at minimum seems that 12GB for Big Triple A games is becoming the new standard, however I don't know what you got your textures set as, but low should be at about 8gb.
And I agree, 8GB Vram is to low, i got many crashes with an 14900KF and a RTX 3060Ti
1080p ~120 FPS, 2K ~80 FPS
Either your RAM or CPU is insufficient, you're not running on an SSD, you don't have the latest drivers installed, you're not using frame generation or there's something wrong with your system.
i9-14900KF
RTX 3060 Ti Gaming OC 8G
64 GB DDR5 6000
Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 1TB
I dont think there is a problem with the specs, and i dont have any crashes with other games.
i9 9900k
32GB
3070Ti
Most settings on epic, 2560x1440.
And you're experiencing low fps? Or just those crashes? Because the OP was talking about low fps, not crashes
The crashes are for me, but the frame drops are the problem, after 5~7 times the frames drops hard for few seconds (from 80 FPS to 15~20FPS) the game crashes
48gb ram, 7800x3d. Ram usage is also very high, usually around 33300MB. CPU usage hovers around 40%. My game does not crash, but I don't think playing on 2fps is possible :)
Had to install a couple of optimization mods and new drivers though
With Low-mid settings game runs smoothly
If you want, you can always use nexus mods.
