Will this game be optimized for lower-end pc's
No, I do not have a 4090 super (I'm sorry for my sins) but my specs are just barely below minimum, and the upcoming optimizations seem to address crash issues as well as the memory leak but I haven't heard anything about optimization that would help lower the minimum requirements. About a week before the launch the minimum requirements on steam leapt to where they are now, and before they were surprisingly undemanding.

Here are my specs for whoever wants to know
AMD Ryzen 5 3500 6-Core Processor
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650
RAM: 16gb

I know it's not a "potato" pc, it can run pretty much anything I throw at it even if the graphics have to be lowered, but this game is quite a leap when it comes to hardware requirements (I know it's mainly due to unreal engine)

I played the game a bit, went through the starting sewer and into the bunker lab, all while I had like 10fps. Sometimes the game would start running fluently but after I moved it would go back to 10

I don't care about ultra HD ray-traced testicle rendering. I just want the game to run smoothly, and I will eventually buy a serious pc for this stuff. For now I want to know if any optimization is planned to run smoothly on lower tier pc's.

Sorry you need to have a 5090, anything less is a sin!

Joking aside, being under min specs which ARE the minimum will obviously net you a terrible experience if any at all. You can expect crashes at startup, crashes loading into the game, BSOD's, and framedrops into the single digits during fights or certain areas.

Right now it is black friday sales on amazon. I would highly recommend you find a better GPU, one that is at least 2 years or newer with 8+gbs of VRAM. If not now then perhaps during a X-mas sale.

Effectively what you need is a new PC since every component is well past its "Best by" date had it been a food product. Might still be edible, but it'll taste like crap lol. 8c16t CPU, 32gb RAM, 12gb+ VRAM GPU, and a NVME is becoming the "Standard" for gaming. That would be your minimum goal for a new PC. Your PC was the minimum 4-5 years ago. Now it is well below the minimum for anything new coming out.

Though seriously if you cannot sustain a reasonable upgrade frequency then PC gaming isn't for you. Consoles are literally meant for people that cannot handle the financial cost of PC gaming. Not trying to troll or be mean, just stating the facts.

I'm above minimum settings on low and I still go into slideshow mode in certain areas. The game certainly has technical issues that need to be ironed out, memory leak is a big problem and I heard on reddit something about raytracing being always on.

I have it on game pass and have it running at 4K on Epic at 60-80fps but man that 1st laboratory bunker thing. As soon as I go in FPS major stutters and goes to about 15fps

I7-1300k
3080 (12GB)

I´m sorry to be the one to break it to you but, raytracing is not something you can turn off in this game. UE5 plus lumen and nanite and so on. So i think you will have a bad time in this.
Your gpu is a mid range gpu from 2019 and so is your cpu.

Time to upgrade.
