Getting rid of electronic collar.

So apparently when first entering Zalissya I was supposed to meet this dude named Nightingale who would give a quest to hunt dogs. There You would get first Electronic Collar quest item and after completing Nightingale's quest you could sell those collars.

I never met Nightingale. Don't know if he didn't spawn or I missed him. Later in garbage area I killed a pseudodog with Electronic collar and only after that found out about this quest. Now this collar is just wasting my inventory space. So is there any way you can get rid of quest item I don't know about? Or to trigger collar quest? Nightngale is not in Zalissya.

I have been wondering the same thing. I even found a location with a bunch of zombies and kept hearing beeping near their corpses - when I looted one it had a collar. Wtf?

I got one off a snark, never seen the guy with the quest either.

It comes later. you need one to progress the main story.

Main story? According to internet - collars can be sold to Hamster in Zalissya after completing mentioned side mission.

I never met anyone like this either, can you only meet him at the start? could i go find him now like 15-20 hours into my playthrough? if not jesus christ, every day i findout a new issue with this game.

Well if hamster is part of theain story mission im screwed because i had the glitch where he died walking through the door way at zalissya.

I have same problem this game is plagued with bugs and tons of glitches mission problems its bad, but fun but bad….

I was also looking for some info about collar and read on the Reddit that Nightingale side-quest is only available with deluxe edition. On standard game, collar can be sold in late-game dunno exactly when. Be patient or install mod to remove quest weight.

It's after you do missions in Malachite you can get rid of the collars.

Later as part of the main plot you'll Meet the drunken scientist and his protege, Scherba. Scherba wants the collars so he can continue the drunk scientist's work.
