Since No1 Talks about the elephant in the room (What about constant crashing?)
I played the game about 6 hours, and every time i close it it is because of the crashes...
I do not understand, there is not enough discussion about it. Last crash was because i hit ESC to get a coffee... I love the game but it is making me mad. Please fix the issue. I reported every crash.

Here is my pc specs , If it even matter;
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-Core Processor
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080
2 X 16 GB DDR5 6000 MT/s

Zero crashes on my end. Did you make sure your bios, gpu, cpu drivers are up to date, latest c++ resists installed? Overclocking tuned down? Os updated? Checked event viewer for errors? Checked game error logs? Increased shader size in nvidia panel? Googled the crash error to understand what's causing it?

Also if it crashes while you paused the game then it sounds like your PC may be overheating. Did you check?

21 hours played and not a single crash, only a vast minority have that issue which most likely comes form their own pc.

21h and no crashes at all. Bugs yeah but not crashes.
Cinerir Nov 24, 2024 @ 10:15am
Every system is different. There are so many possibilities ranging from driver version, chipset drivers, temperatures, a loose RAM-stick, a damaged RAM-module, and so much more.

I had 1, maybe 2 crashes with now 23 hours of gameplay.

Funny enough that my crash happened too when I it ESC to get a coffee/toilet break and when I came back and un-ESC'd the game, it crashed.

While I had no big problem with crashing so far, it is definitely highly buggy and unoptimized.
I often have a bug where I use meds or food and it uses it, plays the animation, but I don't get the benefit of the item. So I have to use it a second time for it to work. Highly ♥♥♥♥♥♥ if it happens in combat.

If it crashes your whole pc you have temperature issue or need to update your driver.

Im 20h in and never crashed

no crash, clean your pc

I am also crashing quite often. PC temps are good. SSD it's installed on has plenty of extra space. Crashes with the same issue everytime. It straight up freezes and eventually crashes. Performance is good. The crashing every so often is the only issue I have preventing me from playing for long periods or progressing without crashing.

LowLevelFatalError [File:D:\STALKER2\s2editor\Engine\Source\Runtime\D3D12RHI\Private\D3D12Util.cpp] [Line: 880] CurrentQueue.Device->GetDevice()->GetDeviceRemovedReason() failed at D:\STALKER2\s2editor\Engine\Source\Runtime\D3D12RHI\Private\D3D12Submission.cpp:910 with error 887A0006 Stalker2_Win64_Shipping Stalker2_Win64_Shipping Stalker2_Win64_Shipping Stalker2_Win64_Shipping Stalker2_Win64_Shipping Stalker2_Win64_Shipping Stalker2_Win64_Shipping kernel32 ntdll

Did you google unreal engine error 887A0006 ? From what I remember it's related to gpu drivers, remove current one with DDU and reinstall latest directly from the website
Arbadacarba Nov 24, 2024 @ 11:57am
I’ve had 1 crash and that was during shader compile, 28 hrs played.
If this was as common as you think every thread would be “crashing” something something

wow no wonder there is no ticket for this :D Well my system is fairly new. I just upgraded my CPU motherboard and RAMs and upgraded my GPU drivers too. I dont know what is the problem but the only day it did not crash on me was yesterday
