I very much dont like it. I know its stupid and it doesnt have that much impact but i hate when game locks something in my inventory. Same like i hate i cant sort it myslef. In short, i hate the inventory system and much more.
Very cheap to upgrade and repair, very good accuracy, piles of ammo for it everywhere and most cases one headshot with this handgun is enough to take down any human enemy (use armor-piercing ammo for better results), saving you crapload of ammo, medkits and repair costs.
Pistols are, in general, a human enemy tool; you don't, and shouldn't, use a pistol in a fight with mutants, and when up against humans, just about any pistol will do the trick with proper aim. Combine that with the fact the ammo is so common and you find that it works fine for the tasks any pistol would be needed for.
Personally I like the idea of just having choices and variety.
