THAT triggers me. You wouldn't shoot with one eye closed, would you?
Like I said the LCO is a weird choice but ok. For the zone a aim point pro would be more robust and a XPS3 more cool.
I'm sorry I don't get your point, you can use normal sights with both eyes open but only in really close combat situation.
like how a HEADLAMP is not a flashlight..... and a light above your eyes, is not going to help you see that far at night.
Probably prone, in safety, in your comfy shooting range but in the zone surrounded by anomalies, mutants, hostiles, always on the run I would rely on a red dot for fast target acquisition and to keep an eye (pun non intended) on my surroundings. But backup sights would probably be useful if red dots malfunction with humidity and harsh conditions.
Anyway that's not really my complain, it was about the aesthetic and authenticity of the weapon, red dots should be this close UNLESS you don't have much space to put it further away.
