GPU 100% USAGE

3070ti strix oc to 2000mhz
Low,medium,high,epic
480p,720p,1080p,1440p
always 80-99% spikes for no reason. Frame rate drop from 120 fps to 5 fps happened while i was in settings and it still get 99% gpu usage.

Game should have been delayed 3 more years as its not finished yet.

I tested it with cyberpunk 2k high settings gpu runs at 80% at max

Check usage against power consumption and bus usage. if you are stuck at like 50% power with high clocks and high bus usage you're spilling VRAM into system RAM.

Ahh was afraid that i ♥♥♥♥♥♥ myself by not upgrading to 4080 or 4090 but im waiting for 5000 series as i heard they will be more expensive so i didnt want to waste money.

I sold my 3070 and bought second-hand 6900XT instead for fraction of the price. Nvidia is by default a waste of money in any tier unless you want the top of the line 4090 at which point who cares how much it costs.

As for the game, HWUnboxed did GPU bench on this game and found that 8GB cards just suffer by default, but it also has a leakage problem when playing extended periods of time so it still needs to be patched anyway.

Optimize your game in NVIDIA settings.
Turn your shades to low. Turn your motion blur strength to 0.

When you wan't excellent content, then you need better graphics card.

Personally not alarmed by +-99% GPU usage when gaming. It is considered "normal" because the hardware is being utilized.

Framerate drops on the other hand is a issue the devs say they are working on.

So its not gpu issue? I mean I know 3070ti is not the best but when i check system requierements it say it is recomended gpu

Mate I have the same GPU and I get the exact same problem. And I play Cyberpunk too and there I have good performance as you. It make me su angry because it shows that actually it could run but then it drops to 5 fps and become unplayable... So sad I waited so long for this game..

Yee thats probably the reason i have only 8gb vram
