Dumbest anomaly?

Am I the only one who hate new flash anomaly that spawns flashes directly at the direction of your movement? What kind of damage they do? I got stash location inside this anomaly, died like 20 times and don't want to try it anymore

jea the flash is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ had 3 spawn and explode instantly in a house because they spawn in a prop just grilled me and had 0 counterplay.....

i have no idea how to get around these anomalies. there is a story mission (the prices go up) that has a large area of these protecting bodies i need (i suspect key is on one of them).

i haven't got hit by them i just walked and if one spawned in my face i turn and run and easy dodge. only seen them in the story mission

I encountered 2 of them, 1 was not during main story mission

Strafe out of the way of the flash anomaly when it spawns, It's pretty easy to avoid once you get the hang of the pattern

One unfortunate casualty of no longer having the encyclopedia, is we dont even know the official names of all these anomalies mutants and new groups unless they're mentioned in a meta/IRL post

my friends and I just call this one the flashbang.

in one place we are supposed to climb the rooftop of the building with stash
and these flashes are spawning in the building, and while you are trying to parkour to the roof. there is no much space to strafe

What i do is Walk in a straight like and once it pops up infront of me back up a bit and you will make your way to where ever you need to go

yeah these are the worst things I've found in the game so far. doesn't seem to be a real counterplay either. barely any time to react before you lose half your health, no consistent way to detect them before they just blow up in your face. pretty crappy, so I just sprint as far away as possible.

Gravity wells, not the quick teleport ones, the ones that suck you into one spot and swirl you around.

The old trick of holding sprint and jumping at the right time using the sound it makes still works, you can just hop right out, makin them pretty worthless.

That thing is what we call Discord Light Theme, They just installed it into the zone for whatever reason.
