Wandering lights anomaly in the Zaton area.
Have you guys found the artefact in this area? I can't find it for the life of me, no idea what to do here. Any tips?

Hint: the bottle glows faintly. It was slightly underwater for me.

Set you gamma to 100% here. But even then if is difficult to see. Watch more for the item highlight than the anomaly itself.

This artifact is EASY. You guys are making it way too hard on yourselves. I found it in about 1 min. every time in five playthroughs. You don't have to look in any special location or under the lights or reload your save or spend hours hunting. Ignore all that. All you have to do is walk around the area and look for the white dot that signifies an item you can interact with. That's the bottle. Ignore all the dumb guides and youtube videos you've seen. It's as easy as that.

Guides falsely claim that the bottle spawns at static spots under static lights. It is not. I found mine sitting on a rock in the complete darkness.

I've collected it three times and on each occasion it has been in one of two places. Twice in one and once in the other.

Apparently its just a bottle on a ground, random spawn in the zone of the anomaly. cant find it myself but have seen pictures. My least favorite anomaly so far, doesnt do anything and just wastes time

It sets your carry weight to 140 that's not nothing.

The spawn isn't random.
Nerfed, because the devs despise fun.

Took me about ten minutes systematically criss-crossing the area. Perhaps I still got lucky though.

My method was to act like a Roomba: walk in a straight line through the lights until I emerged from the other side, then turn and cross again on a different line (Also helped to have a map of the area up on a second monitor, instead of looking at PDA).

Looking from outside the lights, surroundings gave me landmarks to pick lines and check I'd walked each line as I meant to. Inside the lights, the rocky platform in the middle of them all was enough of a landmark to help me figure out when I was just retreading the same areas of the lights, and which parts I might not be covering enough.

Roomba walk eventually hoovered up the Weird Water :D
