That seems to work really well for him, and/or the previous segment of the video.
As a fellow 1080ti camper I would experiment with this and the supposed way to disable raytracing which is apparently forced as ON for everyone no matter what settings you use in game(you need mod or ini changes).
I imagine the fps gains from removing raytracing could be used to bump up other settings as long as the raytracing being disabled doesnt make it look like crap ofc.
Another thing to keep in mind is that you might want to use high or even ultra textures in games as long as the GPU has enough video memory for it I would guess the 1080ti does, with other effects like light/shadows turned down, since usually the textures are saved in their high/ultra resolution meaning if you lower it you can take a fps hit because now the game cant just use the base textures.
At least the game is more than playable with a 1080ti, silly people thinking the 1080ti is a weak card just because its old
This game has obvious optimization problems... just look at all the popular mods being released that target FPS.
Watch your vram usage. Most likely thing to cause issues,
Frame generation might cause issues if the gpu is struggling already. Varies between places/settings, etc.... Sometimes frame generation is great sometimes it's terrible.

The main culprit is the RAM, on 16GB it can cause stutters and a crash if you get a small memory leak in trader bases, other then that its smooth.
For a 2017 card, its worth every penny.
P.s. I switched to my old test PC to play this, since im playing on locked 60fps and its smooth, i save myself cost on power bill a f 4090+latest I9 dish out every month.
I do have a 7800x3d though.
Server CPUs do not do well in desktop game scenarios, not at all...
I used it as a litmus test, like Crysis back in the day. Suffice to say, new PC can wait another 6-12 months at this stage.
I have a 1070 on a Ryzen 5 2600x as a second system I could test it on but I don't have it install on it at the moment
Reflex reduces input lag while having FSR3 Framegen on so best to make sure its on ultra
