FSR3 frame generation is not working in this game, how are people not calling this out?
Like wtf? It does nothing. You can try the DLSS3 mod and it is butter smooth suddenly.

What is going on? How is nobody saying anything?

I have no issues. I'm averaging about 120fps with a 144fps cap on 1440p everything high

my FPs jumps from 50 to 80 -90 when i enable FG FSR in 4k.

Use the DLSS3 mod Nukem9. It "allegedly" forces FSRFG in place of DLSS3, but it works very sus well in everything (even Puredarks mods), even solving graphics glitches in RnC that FSR3FG has... and this "mod" doesnt. Its very strange, but the mod is invaluable.

It turns this game into butter on a 3070 on Epic, and I would imagine it would at least do it on 3060ti at 1080p.

Strange it is absolutely not working here. 40-50fps in town on 5800x3d, 3070, 32gb no change on or off. Use DLSS3 mod getting no lower than 60fps butter smooth in town! (90-110 fps outside).

I guess its one of those random things? Because other users report non working FSR3FG. This game could really show it off.

Working fine my end, I went from around 80 to 120 fps after enabling it.

AMD graphics* suck what did you expect? Get a real GPU

What are you talking about? Im running a RX 7800 XT and getting 120 fps with mostly epic settings, FSR on quality, frame gen on and running 1440p.

if FSR3 means 45fps to 75fps boost on a old test PC, then its working.

Can you tell if reflex is working with it on?

Not just via the option. If its working, then you will have less relative input lag with frame generation enabled. If its not, then frame generation will increase input lag.

NVIDIA reflex is working, its just a small effect, but you can feel it.

P.s. NVIDIA reflax on makes the game ignore set NVIDIA control panel settings.

If it does great. Reflex is anything but a small effect, and constitutes 99 percent of a good frame generation experience. It is absolutely worthless without it, and the reason you dont see FSR3FG on consoles is because AMD cannot get antilag working, so they have no reflex equivalent... therefore, they are missing the key component. *It is simple, with frame generation you see less relative input latency with reflex on, and an increase in latency with it off. Its a completely different experience.

In every game Ive tested thus far that supported both DLSS3 (with or without mod) and FSRFG, reflex does not work. I think Lords of the Fallen was the only one that had it work. Always use the DLSS3 mod (Nukem9) over FSRFG if you have nvidia, since it enforces Reflex (Nvidia is trying to pull something with that Stalker trailer) because it is a hard requisite to "DLSS3" despite whatever Nvidia is trying to pull with that trailer.

In Ratchet and Clank, a great game to test this if you can: get it so you can toggle mod, and FSRFG. Not only is it proven reflex option does absolutely nothing with FSR3... using the mod fixes a graphical glitch!

Ok first of all I Have a ryzen 9 3900x rtx 3080 64gb ram

Stalker 2 was UNPLAYABLE was getting 1-5 fps was tweaking all of my settings, but nothing was helping I remember a year ago I had this same issue because my system should have no problem running this. I Used DDU and uninstalled all of my display drivers and preformed a true clean install. A went from not even being able to play on low settings to now playing on high and getting 60-90 fps. I would highly recommend stopping what you're doing and doing this if you're having issues. If I ended hours of trauma lol gimmie some love $MrXDRE

Good Luck

Edit: 1440p with HDR on

Ingame framegen increases the ingame fps somehow. Then if you enable driver based frame gen on top you double it again. Your input latency doubles though.

Steam FPS readings will tell you what fps the game is doing. But AMD performance monitor will show the framegen of the driver itself, which can be felt on the monitor refresh rate but not picked up by steam.
