I will add though, the stamina is fine, it is just the amount of stamina a knife uses... If it should use any at all.

Mods are nice fixes for when the game is complete. will def look into it but i do prefer to first play a game as created and attempt to give and receive valuable feed back. for i do love Stalker and am attempting to give helpful support or insight
thanks for a possible solution. Hope it ends up being helpful to others seeing this.
And every jump takes literally half of your stamina bar
Nothing to fix here, just use the mechanics..
The main change is that you can't spam knife attacks anymore (I used to do that a lot against blind dogs in the past games). That's not possible anymore - which I welcome btw.
What's lacking a bit is a reliable way to increase stamina past the early game. I know it's no fully fledged RPG (yet ^^) - but an increase of the stamina stat due to "practise" would be nice. Artifacts are there, but it's way too random if you get a good one. So until you got lucky in the artifact lottery one is stuck with low stamina.
