I hate puzzles and incomprehensible gameplay - I just do not have time for that rubbish stuff. Not my sort of game at all.
It's not a game which will walk you through reading the key assignments on a radial menu screen, no.
2nd: The blinking light on your detector indicates an artifact is near, Better detectors will presumably find better artifacts and/or from farther away. You MUST have your detector out to find a typical artifact.
first scanner is just proxy based, i believe in the prologue the artifact spawns on the goop behind the barrel (just get a little closer to it, dont worry about hp to much with the acid anomalies, they are like bleeding, you can dance the Macarena in it before you die).
if in doubt, F5+F8 are king (quicksave+quickload respectively)
General experience has bad so far, guy tells me to throw blot into anomaly and run through. But I got stuck on something and died. There was nothing there.
Second tempt takes me past a group of men shooting, then they turn on me and I'm dead again.
Are you meant to kill them,. doing so we unlock a mission from the guy in the shack but with no equipment are you expected to fight them with the knife? lol
I'll push on but this feels like the devs haven't thought this through very well.
Oh, an item wheel. So it's a console game. lol
I had the same issue, I restarted my game and it appeared instantly.
