Weapon wear seems a little extreme?
Feeling like Zelda: Breath of The Wild, tbh. I just did a chunk of economic gymnastics to make the money to repair some gear I'd gotten and buy new armour, I've run two whole missions, that haven't been overly combat heavy at that, and my primary is at 38% durability requiring another 14000k to repair, my secondary is at 60% and requires just over 8000k to repair.. From being out in those missions I found all of 2 yellow wear guns (rest were red.) and two artifacts which all sold for a total of just over 7000k.. I can't help but feel like they haven't really considered how a lot of the finer parts of this game are supposed to fit together?

Everthing seems extreme, same on the hunger meter or when you are on the poppy fields, the narcotic/drowsiness effect should be more gradual. You run into 1 poppy and its pretty much instant.

There's a mod on Nexus that slows the degradation by I think half. Call me a noob, idc, it is about perfect now.

I don't blame you. Base repair costs are so bad that you're better off finding new gear in many cases than you are repairing the old one, especially in terms of the jacket.

Yeah there's a few very good QOL mods on Nexus already, as much as I hate Nexus, their download manager makes everything very easy. The mods even update themselves.

You're not wrong. I went through that poppy field drinking energy drinks like I had a severe addiction and still seemed to have my 'eyes' shut for most of it. I just can't shake the feeling that a lot of this has just been kinda hastily thrown together without thought.. The economy just doesn't work out.. Everything costs multiple tens of thousands to repair and even from a good mission you seem lucky to make as much as 10k koupons or whatever they call them. You can't part repair, or manual repair so keeping your gear in a working state feels near impossible.

Will have to take a look into that. I don't think you're a noob for wanting the game in a playable state lol.

It's crazy how in 2 days modders can get a better balance in the game's economy than the devs did in 15 years. Like what the hell was even the thought process in making guns cost more to repair than to buy new ones. Like OP has pointed out, you can't even earn currency fast enough to cover mild wear and tear from just doing missions. It's insane.

For sure. This game feels like a survival mod for the first game by people who have never made a video game before. Everything is hilariously overtuned.

Yup, its like the energy drinks don´t work at all, too bad because the area is BEATIFUL but the mission was so weird..

The equally tough part there is there doesn't seem to be 'mild wear and tear' I did two missions and my gun went from 100% to 38% and jamming on the regular.. They even could of implemented a mechanic for dismantling of red guns for parts that you can then use the self maintain your guns, would give red guns a reason to exist and would off set the constant cost of keeping your gear running..
