Currently just pick up yellow or higher guns from enemies and sell them off.
You can save money by repairing a gun that an enemy had.

Artifacts and hideouts are most profitable. Best loot with minimum fights is what you need to raise the money, don't use the side quests for this.

Don't waste 50 bullets on a target that only drops 5 bullets, that'll help a lot.
