Deadzone fix impossible?

Has anyone discovered a fix yet for the controller deadzone issue? The steam input functions do nothing. I have tried everything, setting my own custom dead ones, using enable steam input. Nothing has any effect, my camera still drifts up constantly.

No luck either. Gamepad is next to unusable, tie that in with the random performance glitches after the prologue, game turns to crap.

There MAY be some UE5 engine.ini tweaks available that could help, but at this point I'm too tired to research and start testing, I've already blown by my 2 hours and it's been mostly tweaking and testing deadzone settings and other stuff like that.

This gets old, I'm almost feeling like I should have just got Outlaws instead (cringe).

+1.Where's the patch? It's been 3 days since the game is not playable on the gamepad, either on PC or Xbox. So far, no one has released a mod that fixes this. I really like the game, but the inability to move normally forced her to quit? Why aren't the developers doing anything? Is adding a dead zone setting really such a complicated process?

Old Outlaws and Concord didn't have this level of incompetency in settings/accessibility.
How's Jimmy from GTA gonna play this game? He exclusively uses the same controller for 10+ years.

I read on the internets that a fix is coming eventually. Xbox users are having the same issue

I changed controller sensitivity to 35% and that was game changer. Couldn't play b4 was motion sickness.

I cant get any controller to run this game. only mouse and keyboard works....how do you enable the controller?

Try setting an anti-deadzone in SIC and then increase the deadzone

I tried that too but that still doesn't fix the drift and that floaty feeling for me

Actually that makes NO difference. Drifting is still there, at any percentage.

It isn't? The latest news is that it will be in a future update, not the next one coming up in a week

The developers said that this bug will not be fixed next week, it will be fixed sometime, but when is unknown, so be patient sufferers and play this crap.

Bruh. I just created a layout for Stalker 2 today anyways. Nothing like a little do it yourself to get the ball packing.
