[Solution] Not enough video memory / VRAM / Crashing during shader compilation
I've had this issue, and despite being above the minimum System Requirements for this game, with 8GB VRAM, I get this error and the game closes/crashes during shader compilation.

For some people the issue was using bad Intel CPUs that have problems, namely the 13th or 14th gen. However, I have a 11th Gen i5, and I still encountered this error.

Looking at the task manager proves that the problem is not too little VRAM, but too little RAM.

Increasing the Page File size fixed the issue. Along with my 16 GB Physical RAM, I let my system set the Page File size automatically to 17 GB.

With this 33 GB of total RAM, Shader compilation went successfully and Task manager showed around 25 GB of usage, showing that Stalker 2 really needed that much RAM.

TO INCREASE THE PAGE FILE SIZE, Open your Settings Menu,
Go to System > About > Advanced System Settings

Under the 'Advanced' tab, in the 'Performance' category, click 'Settings'
Go to Advanced tab, and change the Virtual Memory size.

Set the page file size to "System Managed Size",
or the maximum limit to your RAM (16gb ram installed = 16 gb max pagefile size)

Hope this helped! Good hunting, Stalker.
