Can I play this on my Potato pc?

I don't have the best hardware for my pc, but i was wondering if it would even play this game. My CPU is a AMD Ryzen 5 5600G, and my GPU is a AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT.
I love the Stalker games, and don't know much pc spec wise. I would greatly appreciate any advice. thanks!

You will be able to get a very playable experience if you temper your expectations in terms of graphics and don't go berserk on the detail options. But perhaps you should wait a while until some more patches drop. A lot of people are complaining about performance (and bugs!) and it's inevitable that fixes are coming. The game isn't going anywhere.

Personally if I can play it at the least, even on low settings i'm fine with that. I would just like to know if I can. I'm also tempted to just buy an Xbox series X just to play the game. even tho i prefer PC controls. I just want to experience stalker 2, have been waiting awhile to play it. Like i said i'm a huge fan of the stalker games and would love to play this one. All in all thanks for the info! Hope you're enjoying the game.

Looks usable is you have enought RAM.
Game itself has relatively low requirements. Its nicely playable even on my potato around 60 FPS with help of upscaling nad low details. Which is:

Ryzen 7940HS (8cores/16t), integrated AMD graphic 780M, 32 GB RAM, windows 10 and SSD.

So far i can say that this game needs more CPU power than any other game I know.
Typical CPU use during game was around 38%, spike at 45%. Some really modern 6 or 8 core are optimal, but your CPU should be probably enought.

32 GB RAM is optimal, 16 is usable.

Other thing is GPU, any GPU from current or last generation is good enought to play, including AMDs integrated graphics are usable as you can see in my case. I guess your GPU is more than ok for this game.

It's less of a CPU and more of a I/O backend. It needs constant flow of data by the CPU to the engine.

Use mods. Turn off raytracing.
