Why can't i put holographic sight on Viper-5?

I have both and have tried to put the holographic sight and it doesn't let me for some reason.

Anyone knows why this is happening????

You need put a rail on it - go to the technician and choose the right upgrade

i had the holosight on the Viper-5. when I fully upgraded the gun after my next run it detached itself. I thought it was due to changing from rail to laser but, really, that makes no sense as I own an SP5 and have both a rail sight, laser and a light attached... It also doesn't seem to be an ingame issue, rather a bug, due to them both showing unlocked, unlike all the other 1 or the other unlocks.

i too cant add a sight, when i click on the rail, it just says if confirmed.....but i cant confirm

personally, I can't do this. I go to tech and add the "Scope mount" (there's no rail option) for my viper 5 and can't add the holographic sight. Unless I'm completely missing something, there's no way for me to do it. can attach things to other guns as expected.

Lol. Go do the scope mount. Then attach the sight.

Go to upgrade click on dot at bottom right under the barrel, it will pop up options buy the rail mount then make sure its equipped it can be unequipped and equipped very easily by clicking so just make sure its equipped then make sure your gun is in your hands not in your bag and then drag and drop the sight onto the gun.

there's upgrades and modules.

if you buy a module and accidentally click on it you can remove it and not be able to use it. so keep that in mind.
