Waaait. So in you rmind the *only* way to make money is to kill mutants.
IOW you have no clue and the game is at fault.
Wow.
On veteran in the old stalker games everything died in 2-3 hits which was fair.
The game is absolutely amazing and ofc it can be modded, but actual problems should be pointed out nevertheless.
iirc, the rate is determined from costs between current to new and the game charges you the rate between (based on the actual condition) them for repair.
Lol, sorry, but what? I repaired my freedom guardian armor which cost me 31k at 28%. At 87% it is 14k. So you tell me HOW is it cheaper, when the % doesn't mean diddly? The % just makes the weapon/armor less reliable, armor loses protection, weapons lose damage/can jam.
I concur though, use the sale's glitch to get 100% value from your sales. You won't have money problems anymore and this game's wack economy won't infuriate you.
You do no recall correctly, because if it was as you described where the repair cost was the difference between it's damaged value and brand new value, we wouldn't have this situation where it costs significantly more to repair an item than it does to buy the same thing brand new at 100% condition.
The economy of this game is like the others. But this one seems to focus more on artifact hunting because they are more random to find now. And the rarer ones are worth more, whereas in the other games, the ones considered rare then, now fall into common. When in the older games, they were just kinda laying around in the open. You can find some like that in this one(Yeah I know CS and COP had the detectors, but you could still find artifacts bouncing/laying around), but I haven't seen them too often like that(usually something nasty is near as well).
