No nightvision goggles?
Has anyone come across any of these? I have seen posts that mention they are not in the game.

They should make flashlight a gear slot where we can also put night vision, so during game we can find better head flashlights and the most advanced will also have night vision (maybe later they also add thermal vision)?

And this is 60$ AAA games LMFAO

I mean lets be real here. Actual military grade night vision goggles aren't cheap, and this is Russia. They're using AKs patched together with bubble gum.

Bro they were in the first games. Military often had them along with veteran stalkers and were available late game with advanced suits or helmets

Also this is Ukraine not Russia

Ya like STALKER Anomaly.
(they already used all the survival animations for basic functions like Anomaly, might as well)

I don't really understand the reasoning for not putting them in tbh. It wouldn't be too powerful for the player, the AI can literally see use through walls and through bushes plus I have no idea why they are slumming it in the zone with how good they are at landing good and accurate grenade throws

The crazy thing is you can see tons of monolith guys wearing NODs so its really annoying to see it right there and cant use them lol ffs if your not going to give us NODs then dont have other npcs wearing them on their helmets its ridiculous and taunting

You know that Chernobyl is in the Ukraine and not Russia, even if some Russians would like to see it that way. You also already know that there are Western weapons and futuristic gauss cannons in this game and not just the Russian old ones.
Russian weapons are also less vulnerable to defects than western ones and, you won't believe it, the russians also have night vision and thermal, otherwise they wouldn't be able to compete with the USA. Furthermore, the game is set in an unspecified future which means not in the times of the former Soviet Union.

No matter how you try to spin it for yourself, there is no realistic reason why there should be no night vision or thermal in this game.
:gauntletpointer: baffled there isent , and somewhat better flashlight .. :steamfacepalm: and giving what the older games.. no excuses .. and some npc have them .. wtf devs

There is some NPC with them so like the others games we will have it on a futur patch or DLC. There is also possibilities with the technicians' upgrades but i think this feature is not yet in the game. Maybe we will have it soon with a mod because you already have some light filters when you are in a house/under alcohol/ or some psy attacks.

no binoculars either .-.- wtf ... i just found a perfect pair on the ground, in a tower - yet nop . cant pick up or use.. hell non to be found in game :steamsalty::steamfacepalm:

the old games , really had it all , that logical made sense

One thing is the lack of night vision, that in of itself its rough and a huge let down.

But then you add to the fact that the game has the worst flashlight ive ever personally experienced in 30 years of gaming. The cone of light is abysmal and its range is laughable. I honestly think that my phone flashlight is better than the one in stalker.

Then there is the crushing darkness the game suffers from. A lot of developers want to make dark games, that is fine, but they don't understand that the human eye has evolved adaption so that we can see in the dark. It's not just pitch black.

No they aren't. In fact they are crap. And they can't compete with Ukraine and you are comparing them to the US lol?

There is a special debunk operation going on, hasn't reached everybody yet.
