No nightvision goggles?
Has anyone come across any of these? I have seen posts that mention they are not in the game.

There IS a slot for it, but Later in the story, an item not NVG gets installed in this slot.

And this is 60$ AAA games LMFAO

I mean lets be real here. Actual military grade night vision goggles aren't cheap, and this is Russia. They're using AKs patched together with bubble gum.

lets be real, this is NOT ruzzia

If you can get a HK416 then you can get night vision. I can buy photonis, harder digital, NNVT tubes and housing with zero issue as a civilian, I can't buy a hk416, the only tubes you will struggle to buy in Europe are Elbit and L3 tubes, not to mention that Russia has plenty of night vision devices as well but I have no idea about the availability...If money is an issue you can literally build an ultra budget PVS14 for less than 1.5k.....

Theres one potential reason for cut.

Theres a special quuest dohickey that uses the exact mount that are on helmet sin game where they would logically put most night vision.

Unless theres some night vision glasses, swap out animations in real time, or a suit The former would look ridiculous the armor would make sense. Potentially a second unique exo?

Let's not be real here this is a game that takes place in a fictitious zone with artifacts.
Besides the lower grade Night Vision Goggles there could be makeshift ones made with artifacts....

As far as I can tell swap out animations would not be an issue. There isn't any kind of animation for turning the headlamp on, and NVGs should be able to be swapped relatively easily if there is a helmet that already accepts an attachment. This game has been in development for the better part of a decade; no one thought "People would enjoy NVGs."?

I feel like this is why the day/night cycle is so short. They knew the flashlight sucked but didn't want to add any better alternatives.

EDIT: There is an animation to turn the headlamp on, but it was bugged in my save and did not work until I went into the gear wheel and hit tab+E to turn the headlamp on.
There IS an animation for turning helmet based attachments on, but there are no NVGs in this build of the game.
GSC, why?

Killed a npc on a tower in the army base in the army warehouse that had nv on his helmet. Not sure if the player can get one.
