lets be real, this is NOT ruzzia
Theres a special quuest dohickey that uses the exact mount that are on helmet sin game where they would logically put most night vision.
Unless theres some night vision glasses, swap out animations in real time, or a suit The former would look ridiculous the armor would make sense. Potentially a second unique exo?
Besides the lower grade Night Vision Goggles there could be makeshift ones made with artifacts....
As far as I can tell swap out animations would not be an issue. There isn't any kind of animation for turning the headlamp on, and NVGs should be able to be swapped relatively easily if there is a helmet that already accepts an attachment. This game has been in development for the better part of a decade; no one thought "People would enjoy NVGs."?
I feel like this is why the day/night cycle is so short. They knew the flashlight sucked but didn't want to add any better alternatives.
EDIT: There is an animation to turn the headlamp on, but it was bugged in my save and did not work until I went into the gear wheel and hit tab+E to turn the headlamp on.
There IS an animation for turning helmet based attachments on, but there are no NVGs in this build of the game.
GSC, why?
S.T.A.L.K.E.R Takes place in Ukraine.
And NVGs existed in the older games
yeah hense why I didn't mention any issues with that one, Your points are completely valid, and echo my own expanded beliefs. especially around the night cycle
