M701 Super Magically Replaced Other Guins in Inventory

No clue how this happened. During an Emission i ran into a little guard building thing at the Chemical Plant. There were 3 scientists there in white coats and an astronaut looking guy in an orange outfit. I talked to them. At some point, not sure if before or where exactly, my secondary gun was replaced with a M701 Super, a Max Dmg Max Accuracy sniper rifle shooting .308.

In addition, one of the other guns in my inventory was also replaced with one, but this one was broken.

to be clear, this gun can one-shot those giant bloated dog things.

happened to me as well. went to swap back to my rifle from a shotgun and found it had been replaced by a sniper rifle i probably have no business having so early

I "thought I found a modded Shotgun with a magazine load already installed, but it was showing only 6 max until I reloaded it and then showed 10 rounds. Then when reloading the game this morning it was back to no magazine clip. Glitched me some extra mods. I knew something was weird last night because when I went to Diode (tech in Slag heap) to mod it it was showing I didn't have enough to buy the magazine mod, not that it was already installed.

This type of stuff keeps hapening to me all the time, random guns spawning in my holster and bag

i just got a debut suit and the same gas mask i bought for 13k at the first trader randomly appear in my inventory, i think it was a mission reward but it didnt tell me anything about it, it didnt replace any of my gear tho

Було те саме, але вона не так щоб замінила, а просто дробовик ліг в рюкзак, а снайперка з'явилась в руках. Через кілька хвилин з'явилась друга снайперка. Просто випадковим чином

This happens pretty commonly, I've heard it happens because the gane tries to give said gun to an NPC that is either dead or not where it should be, so it fill fills one of your slots instead. Can be nice but could also weigh you down at just the wrong moment to kill you lol.

Never buy any gear and also exploring is pointless unless you need supplies. Just like in the first game SOC, every new and better weapon will be handed to you through progression of the main story. Weapons and gear will be rewards. The moment you buy the best possible item in the trader then you will just have it handed to you within the next mission. So dont buy anything. Its basically a scam. Old Stalker was like that too the traders are more crooks than anything practical.

this happens to me often when i switch to the clusterf*k assault rifle it will switch it out with a random gun... its very annoying
