Mindscrew softlock

[AASH-139]

So I'm in mindscrew right now (near rookie village, cordon). I just got the portable psi installation for a quest and now I can't leave. The doors behind me are shut and the only way I can go is a tunnel with a staircase leading down. However when I try to descend the stairs, the game crashes.

Anyone else got this issue?

i got the same issue. haven´t tried going back the way i came, you might have saved me some time. I guess i have to load an older safefile for now :(

Damn! That sucks! Sure are a lot of quest/game breaking bugs being reported. Been lucky so far (fingers crossed!).

Same here, good thing is a side mission cause all I can think of is just not entering this place at all. To those that are hardlocked in this place, my condolences but you either wait for the next patch to fix this or you start a new game......

For me the game just hanged for around 5 min (not responsive) and then magically came back alive

Same. If you get to the stairs and your game freezes, just give it a few minutes and it should recover.

game froze for me too while saving, I assumed it was random, but it self fixed in like 20 seconds.
Also you get out that way, what I can't find is the key to the locked door. And the code is 1268 the dying guy is saying it.
