9 out of 10 graphics cards people use on Steam are a 3000 series card or below. The 4070 is #9
So... who is the marketing and research genius for this? TO decide Stalker 2 should be created with the 4000 series card in mind but 90% of your entire user base uses something that will feel awful in game. I appreciate it will look great for years to come but you boneheads sabotaged your own launch! :mllrrad:

What?

If you are on 30 series you can combine DLSS upscaling with AMD Frame Generation.

There is no hardware accelerated ray tracing in the game.

Those with 4080/4090 cards cannot make use them fully in this game because it is so extremely CPU limited right now.

So how does it favour 40 series exactly?

It runs pretty good on a 2080. CPU and RAM are way, way more of a limiting factor in this than most titles. If you dont' have 32gb you're probably going to be hurting.

The game is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in a lot of other areas and people should probably wait to buy, but performance is shockingly not the issue.

Even 20 series can do this. In fact I think there was a 'hack' somewhere allowing both 2 and 3 series to use DLSS frame generation in other games as there is no hardware limitation but a software based one.

You can’t hold back progress forever old man.

The limiting factor in this game is not the GPU it's the CPU.

What are your other specs? What resolution? What settings? Nothing you tell us makes any sense without that.

From the Steam page

"RECOMMENDED:
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti / Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 / AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT"

Oh would you look at that, 3070 Ti mentioned.

Even it wasn't no System Requirements page lists every possible piece of compatible hardware.

How you read system requirements, is that you look at what is written as recommended and then look up yourself what other products on the market are just as powerful if you don't see what you own listed anywhere on the page.

This game eats CPU's for breakfast. Even my 9800X3D tanked in some scenarios.

Try running medium with max AF/max textures instead. Compare graphics and fps and report back.
