Vova Amalgam Quest. How I fixed it

The side quest to help Vova Amalgam out of the anomaly field can bug out if an emission hits and you are close to where he is stuck. This happened to me, I reloaded the game to before the emission hit and the quest ran perfectly.

In my game the quest won't start. He just stand there repeating the same dialogue over and over.

I got the same problem, he just wont move or even talk with me, he just repeats the same line over and over

Yes this is what happened to me as well. Did you have an emission when you were close by before you saw him? Thats what happened to me. So far its the one thing that happened to me that i know of that bugged the quest.

Just got here, no emissions while I was near him, but he wont move, acts like the quest is already started but I never talked to him before

if it wasnt the emission then it may have been me rolling back to a previous save. To before i got to the area he was in. It seemed to solve it then in my case

Dude I saved this guy, the emission hit, then he proceeded to die while sitting down INSIDE the building. Is this guy worth being alive later on in the story? It's quite annoying lol

Just did the quest and it worked but you have to move very slow step by step when he follows you. In any case he died shortly after a storm, he decided to stay in the enterance of the fabric building.

This just crashed my game, huge memory leak. I tried to reload to previous save and it locked up my pc. I have 128 gigs of ram amd am RTX 4090! vova amalgam broken, will not talk to me just keeps repeating himself =( please fix.

Same problem here, he simply won't move. I've not had an emission for several hours.

Checked videos on YouTube and it's just not happening for me. Restarted the game and loaded an earlier (10 min) save, no difference.

Hopefully the upcoming patch will address this.

there is a guy in electric field in garbage ask you for help . for me when i got to him conversation didnt start so i couldnt get him out . went inside open valut with code i found on top . come out outside and he vanished as if he didnt exist that was weird . maybe he died or maybe game deleted him . anyway i used my tracker and found artifact he was asking me to find

I don't think the bug has anything to do with the emission. My last emission took place when I was down in the Swamps. I have not had an emission in Garbage at all tonight. I just found Vova Amalgam in the electric field but I cannot open dialogue with him. He just keeps repeating the same line over and over when I try to interact with him.

I found an artifact in the electric field but it's called Sparkler. I read that there is an artifact in this electric field called Rat King. What gives?

This quest was cooked for me too. I had an emission starting when I found the guy so I panicked a little. I ran away then back to him xD When I hit talk I couldnt get dialogue options so I said ah screw it and ran off to hide. He died in the emission, quest solved and failed. But from what I found he doesnt even give good rewards so its not a huge loss at all
