Constantly Crashing on a 4090
I dont know what to say other than it keeps Crashing no matter what Settings i run.
On another PC with a 1080TI the Game runs and no Crashes in about the same Time.

Did you buy the meme 13/14 gen Intel CPU to go along with your 4090?

I have a 13900k but that isnt the Cause, i suspect that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Engine cant or wont work with those CPUs, Remnant 2, another UE5 Game also crashed nearly Hourly for me. Every other Game ran without any Crashes or Problems.

PSU's that can't handle high powered GPU's will crash your game or reset your pc. If you've underclocked or overclocked your GPU then revert to stock and try again. If you've undervolted or overclocked your CPU then revert to stock and try again.

for a 4090 an 850watt gold is recommended so I went 1200w platinum.

So, you did update your BIOS to fix both Vmin shift and out of spec out of the box power profile ?

Yes i updated the BIOs and as i said only Games that run on the UE5 run like dogcrap and crash, Games on any other Engine run just fine and without any Problems.

I'd still do some standard tests at this point. You shouldn't have a failing CPU but still.

To the latest one that has microcode 0x12B update ?
Could you post the crash callstack and error message (whatever the game, it doesn't have to be Stalker) ?

Yeah, that's what people do when they're not broke. It's not the cpu though; AMD users have the same issue.

I have 4090 and AMD CPU and I wouldn't say that I'm constantly crashing. I do get crashes, more than I would like, but I can usually play for several hours before I get a crash.

I had the same issue as you with my 4090 crashing on 13th gen Intel system, non-overclocked.
Install the microcode fix for the Mobo makers overvolting those chips.
Disable XMP profile. This is the only game in my Steam library that required this.
Rare crashes now.

Not everyone has constant crashes. Mine only happen sometimes when I don't cap at 120, and sometimes when I quickload. This didn't start until 40 hours in, and I just passed a major event. Some people say it started for them after completing the quest for Quiet, and when they loaded a save from before the quest, the issue went away. I hope my file isn't borked.

7950X3D/4090/64gb Ram. I've probably crashed a total of 2 maybe 3 times. 100 hours in. There may have been permanent damage done to your CPU if you updated the microcode after it was already failing. you'll never know

For reference I've already crashed that much playing Indiana Jones and im just a couple hours in.

Also try disconnecting and reconnecting ever cable on your motherboard. Make sure the cables are firmly connected. If you moved the PC or bumped it it can loosen a cable or RAM stick.
