UNREAL ENGINE 5 was the biggest mistake!
After 17 hours of gameplay I’m ready to say this….

-Gunplay is amazing!
-Gameplay is amazing!
-The default keyboard settings is meh, but you could fix that in settings and a bit of mods.
-The sound is amazing
-Graphic is amazing!

BUT!!!

In what world did you think going out with Unreal Engine 5 is a good idea????
1. The engine is recommended to GPUs that cost at least 800$..
2. The engine is recommended only for the highly veteran devs. It’s complex and hard to handle.
3. Modding in UE5 is a nightmare, this could take a year or two until we see overhaul mods!
4. The engine is mainly focused on graphics.

5. MOST PEOPLE MOST STEAM SPEC SURVEY SAYING 74% OF THE STEAM USERS CANT RUN THIS GAME ON RECOMMENDED SETTINGS!!
https://store.steampowered.com/hwsurvey/videocard/

JUST WHY!!! WHY WOULD you ride with this engine when you have this info!!!!

What’s wrong with unreal engine 4????????????

for an unreal engine 5 game it looks very outdated . almost look like it was made on unreal engine 4 or 3

Yeah it sucks I was hoping to get another STALKER anomaly but with these GFX n stuff but seems it just won't be possible or will be a pain in the arse for modders to do. I'm waiting on the game to go on sale n even then I'll have to upgrade but from the way it stands why bother I'll just play DayZ Stalker servers n Anomaly.

PUBG using unreal engine 4 and it’s absolutely beautiful engine and runs like a king even in old pc specs.

Shame people play that the on the lowest settings so they get fps advantage to win the battle Royale…

But MAXED OUT graphic on PUBG is absolutely beautiful.. why didn’t they do that with this game is beyond me.

In Shadow of Chernobyl X-Ray engine was the same biggest mistake but.. game survive with tons of mods to this day. Amazing.. dont-ya?
Stroichik Nov 22, 2024 @ 5:51am
It was possible to mod X-Ray to a huge extent. Not so possible with UE5. Anomaly even got reworked half the X-Ray engine. Now with some shaders Anomally looks almost like Stalker 2, except for some geometry.

Unreal Engine 5 allows me to play it in VR and it’s glorious, so I’m very happy about it. If VR can easily be modded into the majority of UE5 games with UEVR, then surely other mods can get there!

clearly never opened up the UE engines, its not so much the engine, its the textures used, you can use the same 4k textures in both, and the same 1080p textures in both, my guess is the developers have opted to use higher resolution base textures.

The lighting and rendering features are new and do demand a bit more out of the hardware, but so is mega lights, but once mega lights is in full swing it'll replace ray tracing for sure, at a fraction of the performance cost

UE 5 kill the game sure.

He's right, there's a universal mod for all UE5 games
Pixelfetish Nov 22, 2024 @ 6:10am
You have no clue what UE 5 is capable of and what mod support means. You just chit-chat, scaring off people who aren't sure.
Skorne Nov 22, 2024 @ 6:10am
Right so what were they supposed to use? Build their own engine? Add 2+ years to development time. Unity? Would be running at 2 fps. Godot? Lol.

Mate look at the recommendation spec and low settings spec for the game. And look at the link I provided that shows the steam users GPUs!

i saw some where that the current game is on UE 5.2 which has its problem but they should get the current one is UE 5.5 which is the better version.
