And there is no pin-point accuracy. The enemies try to lob it into your direction, but you can evade those. Just don't be a sitting duck. (seriously, I got never injured by a grenade so far - despite they throw a lot at me).
Though this Is most likely tied to them being able to see through walls too a lot of times.
Also a little bonus, they can shoot through walls If they are close enough to them. Their weapon will just clip through It.
For me every combat goes like this: me running to cover (treelines, houses, shacks, whatever). When grenade lobbing starts I switch positions. Grenade goes of, I'm already somewhere else and busy shooting the lobber. Lobber dies.
