How do you add weapon attachemnts?

So how do you actually add weapon attachments? I bought a holo sight for my Viper-5 and and it says it's compatible with Viper-5s but I can't seem to figure out how to actually put it on the thing.

you have to upgrade the viper 5 with a rail attachment at the tinker dude first. This is something that caught me earlier today too.
I believe its labeled as "scope" attachement at the tinkerer.

If you equip the weapon first, then drag and drop scope/silencer etc onto the weapon, it will equip it

I fully upgraded a Viper5, i have a Holo Scope for Viper in my Inventory. If i equip the Weapon and Press T i cant choose the Scope, Drag and Drop in Inventory dont works. What ca i do?
