honestly not bad. i got a 9600k and 2070 (original) with 32gb of ram and im getting 30-120 fps on med dlss on quality (no frame gen). i havent tried it yet but if you lock your fps then it should smooth the frame time issues.

@Medium preset 1080p

Upscaling (balanced) and Frame generation gave me consistent 60+ fps w/4060-5800x
Without Frame Gen, it sits around 50 - 60fps

Very few moments dropping below 30-40fps

Intel core i9-9900K
RTX 3080
32GB Ram

Still have to run medium - low settings.
I think bc the raytracing is forced lumen / CPU the GPU isn't so much the bottle neck for people (until they fix that to use GPU for it)

I run fine so far on low admittedly but my GPU old af but 60-70fps 4k
5900x
64gb ram
2080 super
not sure about loading but nvme gen 5 drive

playing on a 1080ti 2nd gen i7-2600k with ddr3 16gb ram. with the right settings tweaks i can get a solid 30-70 fps which is enough to play the game. its a little jank sometimes yea, and its not as pretty as it could be, but i can play. if your pc cant handle the settings you have selected, you will most likely crash due to a vram or some kind of data expense

If you can turn off efficiency cores in the cpu that would help a lot.

Not really. I mean unless you expect smooth sailing and/or don't know how to tweak your settings you won't suffer (not much).
I own an i5-8400. 16 RAM, 2060 stock. So you are a lil bit better positioned than me.

With these components i play at 55-70FPS on all settings low but textures on medium. Plus DLSS on 'balanced'. Even though my display is 75hz i decided to apply the 60FPS lock for a better experience.

It ain't perfect but it's pretty enjoyable for the moment. :steamthumbsup: :RadioactiveWarning:

i7 6700k, gtx980ti and 8gb single channel RAM user here (probably bad memory controller on the cpu, fails to POST with dual chanel). Runs the game around 40-50ish fps with FSR performance, 1080p of course.

If you thought you weren't even going to be able the run the game at all then nop, you're not as screwed as you might think.

Can get 1080p 60 fps with custom settings. Will need to do a lot of reading. Check the games guides section for optimization.

Maybe try with frame generation off. Might be maxing out peoples vram. Turn off light shafts.

Mouse smoothing off. In %localappdata%\Stalker2\Saved\Config\Windows\GameUserSettings.ini add the below lines. Might need to enable view hidden items to get to %localappdata% open file explorer click on view up top and check mark hidden items

[/script/engine.inputsettings]
bEnableMouseSmoothing=False
bViewAccelerationEnabled=False
