soft lock mission tracker Hot on the Trail

Halfway through the mission 'Hot on the Trail' and I am being given updates to my quest, but when trying to track them nothing shows on my map or compass. Tried saving and loading, completely restarting game, may try the old verify files hail mary but any ideas gentlemen?

already did to go complete a side quest unfortunately :/ no luck

I've had those radio messages, and they actually repeated. Both times they say they are at an Outpost that is being attacked, and both times the transmission stops just as they are going to give the co-ordinates. It's not repeated, and I don't know what triggered it. Both times I was just north of the Noontide base.

Heard it again when headed NE.

late reply but i realized the game sort of lets you do things out of order and break the sequence, just had to look up a guide for the mission and go back to the previous task to make sure it was finished, after that everything went fine
