Traders icons turning green?

does that mean they like me? is there faction rep? how do i see it if thats the case? or is it just a random color change for absolutely no reason? who knows? cuz i have no idea.

happened for me as well - only after my first time going to sleep in game - i guessed it was merchant inventory refresh?? i don't know for sure.

someone please confirm.

Yes, Loner faction likes you now, you will get better prices for buying, selling, upgrade and repair and fast traveling. there are multiple factions in the zone and its possible to some be hostile to you due to your actions.

I think it's to do with your reputation. Doing jobs and missions that benefit those people increases your reputation with them.

This happened to me after doing few quests for them. I thought this was sort of a reputation thing. When I moved to a new zone, Garbage, the trader icons are now white.

Garbage is controlled by a different faction. Loners have at least two regions, you are green in both of them

Is there any way to actually view the functional reputation you've got with a group?

Not that I've found. There should be a list in your PDA showing different Stalkers ranks and your reputation with the various factions, but it appears to be not working at the moment. I have my suspicions that it's to do with A-Life not working properly yet.

On my second playthrough and it’s totally bugged for me. Finish three captains the *best* way and no one in zaton is green. Same with Cordon and lesser zone and I sided with the loners 100%

Dont know what you think is the best way but helping the captured stalkers for Beard by shooting the aplles of there heads, and than wen they are set free killing the bandits, doing the mission for Sultan, and killing the ones that wanted to take the case away from you, than wen you get send on the mission to kill them both, get the CF rifle from the Sniper post, turn On the radio, listen, and than shoot the attackers from the sniper post, i also did 2 missions for Owl and the Traders are green on both Shipwrecks, including the medic and tech.
